Commanding Officer 224 Parachute Field Ambulance RAMC Helmet

Formerly the property of Lt Col Nash who was the Commanding Officer of 224 PFA between 1942-1943. Helmet is of the early dispatch rider pattern, which was popularly used as a jump helmet by medical troops. Helmet is named inside Nash and documents found inside the liner confirm this ownership. Painted 224 PFA flash to side over original green painted finish.  read more
